Healthy tips on fruits intake

**I find this forwarded email from a very good friend very helpful for all of us and so I am sharing this. I realized that the absence of knowledge about things can really be so unhealthy. And so here are the proper ways of taking in fruits in our body...

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not so easy as you think.

It's important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?
* IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS!
* FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.

Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so. In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining - every time I eat water-melon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat banana I feel like running to the toilet etc -actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat! There is no such thing as some fruits like orange and lemon are acidic because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did a research on this matter.

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight. When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT From the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat Cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all.You only get to taste....Cooking destroys all the vitamins. But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you Should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium,Vitamin E & fiber. Its Vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low Vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of Vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessels-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE : Sweetest medicine. Taking 2 -4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON:Coolest Thirst Quencher Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene-the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are Vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for Vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high Vitamin C content. Guava is Also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation.Papaya is rich in carotene;this is good for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after meal = Cancer! Can u believe this??

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer.

It is best to Drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

* Have a healthy eating habit everyone! take care!:)

26 guards

Have you ever felt the urge to pray for someone and then just put it on a list and said, "I'll pray for them later?" Or has anyone ever called you and said, "I need you to pray for me, I have this need?"

***Read the following story that was sent to me and may it change the way that you may think about prayer and also the way you pray.

You will be blessed by this.

A missionary on furlough told this true story while visiting his home church in Michigan .

"While serving at a small field hospital in Africa , every two weeks I traveled by bicycle through the jungle to a nearby city for supplies. This was a journey of two days and required camping overnight at the halfway point.

On one of these journeys, I arrived in the city where I planned to collect money from a bank, purchase medicine, and supplies, and then begin my two-day journey back to the field hospital.

Upon arrival in the city, I observed two men fighting, one of whom had been seriously injured. I treated him for his injuries and at the same time talked to him about the Lord.I then travelled two days, camping overnight, and arrived home without incident.

Two weeks later I repeated my journey.

Upon arriving in the city, I was approached by the young man I had treated. He told me that he had known I carried money and medicines. He said, 'Some friends and I followed you into the jungle, knowing you would camp overnight. We planned to kill you and take your money and drugs.

But just as we were about to move into your camp, we saw that you were surrounded by 26 armed guards.

At this, I laughed and said that I was certainly all alone in that jungle campsite. The young man pressed the point, however, and said, 'No, sir, I was not the only person to see the guards, my friends also saw them, and we all counted them. It was because of those guards that we were afraid and left you alone.'

At this point in the sermon, one of the men in the congregation jumped to his feet and interrupted the missionary and asked if he could tell him the exact day this happened.

The missionary told the congregation the date and the man who interrupted told him this story:

"On the night of your incident in Africa , it was morning here and I was preparing to go play golf. I was about to putt when I felt the urge to pray for you. In fact, the urging of the Lord was so strong; I called men in this church to meet with me here in the sanctuary to pray for you.

Would all of those men who met with me on that day stand up?"

The men who had met together to pray that day stood up. The missionary wasn't concerned with who they were, he was too busy counting how many men he saw. There were 26.

***This story is an incredible example of how the Spirit of the Lord moves in mysterious ways. If you ever hear such prodding, go along with it. Nothing is ever hurt by prayer except the gates of hell. I encourage you to forward this to as many people as you know.

If we all take it to heart, we can turn this world toward God once again. As the above true story clearly illustrates, "with God all things are possible".

More importantly, how God hears and answers the prayers of the faithful.

food for thought..

"Sometimes it's better to be lost anywhere in this world where you can ask directions back.Than be lost inside yourself where redemption lies in your hands alone."

A shopaholic confession

Oh, well! I am not a shopaholic person and so I personally have nothing to confess. I just remember the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and I wonder if the lead star ever used the best gas credit cards available in the market now. For sure I haven't seen the movie because I was too busy from work that I only have the weekend to take a good nap and rest. But really, if I were a shopaholic person, surely I would choose for the best credit card around just in case I run out of cash. Now, what? Well, a friend of mine has really confessed on me that each time she's out of budget and her salary would be given late, her credit card really helped her a lot.

I got curious with the idea from a friend and so I went to check online for the best credit cards comparison somehow hoping that I could avail one for myself. There are just a lot of credit cards offered anywhere but I need something that would really give me a good credit. I then found dealsforcreditcards.com that offers great comparison guide to help me out where and how to get the best credit cards with very low interest. The search here can help figure what can the credit card offers, help the clients realize and calculate balance transfer savings and can also make comparison on the terms and conditions of the cards. Things here are already laid them all too easily and more convenient for everybody.

passport?

I am living in my own country and yet it's ironic that it has become uncommon to most Filipinos to have not gotten a passport.

One time, a good friend of mine asked me if I already have my passport. My answer is direct and simple. I told her I have no passport yet. And then she said, "Oisst!bilisan mo na pagkuha ng passport mo kasi dumadami ang pila ng tao sa DFA. Baka mahirapan kana makakuha lalo na sa panahon ngayon. Medyo matagal na daw nila niri-release ang passport, will take a month na raw." And I just nodded. However, this to me is something that I feel actually odd because I am starting to feel like an alien in my own country only because I do not own a passport: a passport for leaving the place I call home.

The impact of people saying, "kuha kana ng passport mo,dali!" is a simple insinuation of eagerly leaving this poor country "one day soon". And it's sad. I, myself hope to be working abroad one day. But I never thought that i would be starting to see almost all things pathetically in my own country.

I can only hope and pray that even when we have to go to find better opportunity abroad, we'll still see ourselves retiring in our own land one day.

well lived...

A lot of shows in t.v now have been airing about the passing of Francis M. and paying tribute to him as a man who inspired a lot of people through his music. I myself is inspired to hear about the well lived life of Francis M. and the so many fans whose lives he'd touched. And since he was a real epitome of deep nationalism..I also wish to pay tribute to Francis M. for all his makabayan songs.

Salamat Kiko for reliving in us our love for our country. Have a great journey with our Creator!

So many faces, so many races
Different voices, different choices
Some are mad, while others laugh
Some live alone with no better half
Others grieve while others curse
And others mourn behind a big black hearse
Some are pure and some half-bred
Some are sober and some are wasted
Some are rich because of fate and
Some are poor with no food on their plate
Some stand out while others blend
Some are fat and stout while some are thin
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most

Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin' round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world

Some are great and some are few
Others lie while some tell the truth
Some say poems and some do sing
Others sing through their guitar strings
Some know it all while some act dumb
Let the bassline strum to the bang of the drum
Some can swim while some will sink
And some will find their minds and think
Others walk while others run
You can't talk peace and have a gun
Some are hurt and start to cry
Don't ask me how don't ask me why
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most

Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin' round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world

What's wrong with Ombudsman Gutierrez?

Lately Ombudsman Gutierrez has reached limelight because of the issue tossed to her by almost everybody. And now, she's asked to resign. Well, I do not know this woman personally so still i have no right to fry her with intrigues. However, i was just kind of appalled with how she responded during the investigation done at the Senate when she was being questioned with regards to her duty as an Ombudsman and with the issues she's going through.

More of Gutierrez' responses were like just coatings in a cake. Para bang, the best defense for her is also to say something negative against these people who filed impeachment complaint against her.

Why can't she just go straight to the point and answer her case? like what happened to her investigation esp. on FG's case?

Kung di sya guilty bakit nya parang minamani ang utak ng mga tao na para bang mas may tinatago sya. Why would she keep on talking about other people when she's the one being put into question? Naalala ko tuloy entry ni batopik. Ganyang-ganyan sya nung sinalang sya sa senado.

Hayyy, nakakasayang minsan ng oras when talking about this kind of issue. But sometimes we have to raise our point about things.
